Miranda's Sandbox
Miranda is the teenage daughter of Prospero, who came to the island at just three years old. She doesn't know her family’s royal background, as Prospero has kept this a secret from her.
Miranda has grown up on the island without seeing any human being, apart from her father and the creature, Caliban. Caliban and Miranda grew up together, and Miranda even taught Caliban how to read and write in English. Their relationship changed when Caliban was accused of violating Miranda. Now, Miranda views Caliban as her father does – as a servant.
